Shakti Pumps (India) achieved a remarkable feat by selling out its entire allocation of 10,000 off-grid solar pumps within 90 minutes after Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd (MSEDCL) opened its farmer portal on August 27, 2025. The ₹268.88 crore order underscores surging demand for sustainable irrigation solutions in India's agricultural sector.

The company's empanelment under the PM KUSUM B scheme positions it as the sole supplier for 34,720 solar pumping systems across Maharashtra. Chairman Dinesh Patidar credits this market dominance to Shakti Pumps' established manufacturing capabilities and trusted technology platform.

With two production facilities boasting 500,000-unit annual capacity, the Pithampur-based manufacturer maintains complete vertical integration—producing everything from solar pumps to variable frequency drives in-house. Its export footprint spans 100+ countries, reinforced by India's first 5-star pump manufacturer certification.
